The quick verdict
Prokerala is the established name: deep Vedic calculations, a long track record, and a developer API that much of the industry quietly resells. If you want the incumbent everyone knows, that's Prokerala.
kundli.site matches Prokerala's core Vedic calculations — planetary positions to within 0.005°, whole-sign houses, 16 vargas, Vimshottari dashas — and adds what Prokerala doesn't offer: interactive tarot, an AI guide grounded in your chart, Western and Chinese astrology, and the full experience in Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil.
The real difference is breadth and pricing model: one platform for Vedic, Western, tarot and numerology with one-time purchases, versus a Vedic specialist with tiered offerings. Try the free chart on both and compare.

What actually differs
Four areas where the choice matters most.
Pricing
kundli.site sells one-time products: a complete kundli report is $24.99 (₹499 in India, $34.99 CAD in Canada), tarot readings from $9.99, and everything is yours forever. No subscriptions, no renewals, no per-minute meters.
Prokerala offers free kundli pages and paid reports with tiered pricing. Check their site for current rates — pricing changes, and we'd rather you see the real numbers than our summary of them.
Languages
This is the clearest difference. kundli.site runs fully in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil — navigation, readings, tarot narratives, and reports. For millions of users, this is the first time their chart speaks their language.
Prokerala is primarily an English-language service. If you read English comfortably, this won't matter to you. If your mother reads Malayalam, it matters a lot.
Accuracy & method
Both engines compute Vedic charts with the Swiss Ephemeris and the Lahiri ayanamsa. We verified our engine head-to-head against Prokerala's published charts: planetary longitudes match to about 0.005°, houses, Navamsa and dasha dates align, and our 16 varga calculations follow classical Parashara rules.
Where classical texts admit multiple valid conventions, we document which lineage we follow rather than pretending there's one answer. Our methodology page lists every choice.
Experience
kundli.site is one account for everything: your Vedic chart, Western chart, tarot readings, numerology, daily horoscopes and an AI guide that answers in the context of your chart. Mobile-first, no clutter.
Prokerala's strength is depth in the Vedic lane and twenty years of familiarity. If you only want a traditional kundli from the name you know, it's a solid choice. If you want tarot, Western astrology, or your own language, that's where we differ.
